All bandit camps — loot rotation guide
Bandit camps are open-world combat encounters scattered across the Highlands. Each one has a loot chest at the end. They respawn loot weekly (real-time-ish — measured in in-game days).
Best camps for farming
- South Manor Cape camp — closest to Hogsmeade fast travel, 5-minute clears.
- Marunweem Lake bandit lair — has 2 chests (one hidden behind the fight).
- Forbidden Forest infested poacher camp — drops Beast trait materials, useful for Loom.
- Highlands North bridge camp — guarded by a troll, but the chest has guaranteed Tier-5 gear.
Difficulty notes
- Camps scale to your level. Don't grind low-level camps for high-level gear.
- Some camps have a mini-boss (named bandit). Drops uniques.
What chests drop
- Standard chest: gold, materials, occasional gear.
- Bandit Camp chest (the named one at the end): at least one gear piece, sometimes Tier-rare.
- Hidden chest (often behind a wall): more gold, sometimes a unique trait.
Trophy chain
- Bandit Bested — clear one full camp.
- Bandit Boss — clear all bandit camps in a region.
- Combine with Knight of Trolls for the trophy combo.
If stuck: if a camp has no enemies after you've fast-traveled, you may have triggered a stealth glitch. Move 50 meters away and back — enemies respawn.
