Battle Arenas — combat challenge guide
Battle Arenas are wave-based combat challenges. 5 arenas scattered in the Highlands. Each tests escalating difficulty.
Arena locations
- Tomes and Scrolls Lakeside Arena — entry-level, ~level 12-15.
- Coastal Cave Arena — moderate, ~level 16-19.
- Mine Arena (Bandit Mountains) — hard, ~level 20-23.
- Forbidden Forest Tower — very hard, ~level 24-27.
- Endgame Arena (postgame) — gauntlet of all bosses.
How they work
- 5 to 8 waves per arena.
- Each wave brings stronger enemy types: spiders → trolls → bandit captains → mages → boss.
- Final wave is a boss-tier enemy unique to that arena.
Best loadouts
- Hotbar with all crowd-control spells is critical. Levioso/Accio/Glacius/Bombarda combo carries.
- Avada Kedavra if learned — saves runs against boss-tier mooks.
- Mandrakes from Room of Requirement — pull mid-fight for instant AoE stun.
Rewards
- Each completed arena: gear chest with random Trait piece + a chunk of XP.
- Final arena: best gear in the game (statistically) for that slot.
Trophy
- Battle Born — clear one arena.
- Battlemage — clear all 5 arenas.
If stuck: if a wave kills you instantly, you're underleveled. The arenas don't level-scale — they have hard level floors. Come back at the recommended level.
