How to get the Jacket in Midtown

In Midtown, the bouncer at the secret club rejects you because you don't look like a regular. You need a Jacket that matches the dress code. There's no shortcut — it's a trade chain.

Chain of trades

  1. Talk to Pommy (the wandering robot near the laundry). She wants an Electric Cable.
  2. Find the Electric Cable — it's on the rooftop of the noodle bar in central Midtown. Climb up via the awnings.
  3. Trade the Cable to Pommy. She gives you a Battery.
  4. Take the Battery to the Super Spirit Detergent shop owner. He gives you the Jacket in exchange.
  5. Return to the bouncer wearing the Jacket. He lets you in.

The shop owner can be slow to give the trade prompt — re-enter the shop if it doesn't appear.
