Bloody Baron — how to find Anna and Tamara

The Bloody Baron storyline (Family Matters → Ladies of the Wood → Return to Crookback Bog) is the moral core of Velen and the most-Googled stuck quest in the game. Two leads, both required.

Lead 1 — Tamara (the daughter)

1. Investigate the Baron's bedroom with Witcher Senses. Pick up the doll, the shoe print, and the drag mark by the window.
2. Follow the glowing footprints out the window into the courtyard, then into the woods.
3. The trail dead-ends near the Whispering Hillock because something attacked. Geralt deduces Tamara survived; she ran to Oxenfurt.
4. Travel to Oxenfurt and meet Tamara at the Hierarch's lodgings (marker auto-updates). She's alive but won't talk to her father — note for later.

Lead 2 — Anna (the wife)

1. Talk to the Pellar (south of Blackbough) to get the lead on the Crones of Crookback Bog.
2. Visit the Crones in the Whispering Hillock area. They send you on the Ladies of the Wood quest before they tell you anything about Anna.
3. Complete Ladies of the Wood — rescue the orphans from Downwarren. The Crones then reveal Anna is in Crookback Bog under a curse.

Both leads must be completed before Return to Crookback Bog unlocks.

If stuck: if Witcher Senses won't trigger on the bedroom doll, you're in the wrong room — the Baron's bedroom is upstairs in Crow's Perch, not the war room.
