Tomb of Tihocan — Level 9 walkthrough
The second Scion piece. The level has multi-tier corridors leading to a central tomb chamber, then a boss fight, then a Pierre Dupont chase.
Path to the Scion
- Multiple key items required: Sapphire Key, the Gold Pyramid, etc.
- Sapphire Key is in the southeast underwater passage — most-missed item in the level.
- Combine all keys at the central tomb door to open it.
Centaur boss
At the entrance to the second Scion piece, two stone centaurs come alive.
- Magnums or shotgun, no exceptions.
- They charge in straight lines — sidestep, then unload.
- The arena has a high ledge — climb up to break aggro and snipe from above.
Pierre Dupont
After the centaurs, Pierre attacks. Run-and-gun fight; he's a moving target.
- He retreats when low HP — chase him through the corridors.
- Final shoot-out is in the entrance chamber.
Secrets
- 3 secrets. Two are in flooded passages — explore underwater whenever you see a current.
If stuck: if Pierre keeps escaping, save and reload — there's a chance the chase glitches him into a wall. Reload re-spawns him in the correct fight position.
