Where to get every Queen's Blood card

Five sources for cards: NPC matches, vendors, Cadell Soul/Gold Saucer challenges, Rare Cards Lost, and Thoren in Grasslands.

“Cards can be gained in several ways: firstly from beating enemies as you rank up. Vendors that sell card bundles let you mix up your deck — some are available in the general store right at the start of the game, and there's a specific card vendor in the Dust Bowl area. Several cards come from challenges in Cadell Soul and the Gold Saucer. After unlocking summons you can go to Thoren the Card Collector in the Grasslands after completing the side quest A Rare Card Lost in that early game area.”

Where to get every Queen's Blood card

The full Queen's Blood collection is gated across five sources. Knowing the breakdown saves you backtracking later.

1. Beat Queen's Blood NPCs to rank up

  • Every Queen's Blood player on the map is a match. Wins push your rank up.
  • Higher rank → unlock new opponents → new cards as match rewards.
  • This is the steady drip — most of your collection comes from here.

2. Vendor packs

  • Items vendor in Kalm — earliest seller, buy at first visit.
  • Card vendor in the Dust Bowl region — separate dedicated vendor.
  • General store packs at most major settlements rotate.

3. Challenge rewards

  • Cadell Soul Queen's Blood challenges — themed match sets, exclusive cards.
  • Gold Saucer Queen's Blood challenges — late-game, harder, the best cards drop here.

4. Rare Cards Lost (side quests)

  • Optional side quest type — find a rare card someone lost.
  • The Grasslands Rare Card Lost unlocks the Chocobo & Moogle card — the early-game centerpiece.
  • Each region has at least one.

5. Thoren the Collector

  • NPC in Grasslands, near the Chocobo Stop.
  • Sells summon cards — Titan, Ifrit, etc. — but only after you unlock the matching summon (Chadley combat sim).
  • The summon-card route is essential for the Wombo combo deck (see our starter deck guide).

If stuck: if Thoren's inventory is empty, you haven't unlocked the matching summon yet. Visit Chadley → Combat Simulator → fight (or fight a weakened version via Divine Intel) → return to Thoren.
